Customers picking up bikes and loading them into vehicles/onto trailers are solely responsible for loading and securing the bikes. Durham E-Bikes staff are unable to provide assistance with the loading and securing process due to insurance coverage & liability concerns.

Leaving Your Bike For Service
Our aim is always to get service completed on all customer bikes as quickly as possible to ensure that our riders get the most out of their riding season. Sometimes we must order parts or the repair requires more time to properly address and we must keep a customer's bike for more than one day. After receiving a phone call advising that repairs have been completed, customers are given five business days to come and retrieve their bike. If their bike is not picked up after five business days, customers will be charged a storage fee of $25.00 per week. Due to space limitations, we are unable to keep bikes around the shop after repairs are completed.

In Store Return Policy
If you wish to return a product, it can be returned within 7 days in new and unused condition only, any merchandise that shows signs of use (wear, dirt, smell, scuffing, mounting, installation, etc.) cannot be returned.
This includes any items that have been "Tested Out".
The customer is responsible for a 20% restocking fee. The cost of the item minus the restocking fee is refunded once the product has been returned and is determined to be in new and unused condition. If the product has been used, ridden, or damaged, while in the possession of the customer, the product cannot be exchanged or returned for future credit, unless authorized by a Durham E-Bike manager. Restocking fees are 20% of the original price not including taxes.

Warranty coverage is for manufacturer's defect only, and coverage eligibility is determined by our in house technician after careful examination of the issue. A Manufacturer's defect is defined as a failure of the product as a result of a deficiency of the direct materials and/or workmanship of the product during the manufacturing process. Any user created product failures are not covered under a manufacturer's warranty, nor are any failures relating to (worn out) products that have reached the end of their product lifespan. A product lifespan is defined as the normal usable length of time any product should conceivably last. If a product has failed due to the fact that it has reached this point in less time than it's stipulated warranty, this does not indicate a manufacturer's defect.
Warranty does not cover any loss, or damage caused by negligence, misuse, repair modifications, etc.
ie. modifying the voltage will void the warranty.
